propeller shaft HELP

Hi

Really in a bind. Need HELP! Need to replace the stuffing box hose. The bell to the propeller shaft will not budge. I have tried every thing and various sprays including freeze out. Tried two different gear pullers. Cannot get this bell to loosen in order to remove and replace the hose that tore. Anyone have any ideas? The season is approaching and I'm doing my best to get her ready. Please help. Any suggestions is appreciated.

Can you heat it up with one of those blue propane torches you get at home d?

hi. going to give the heat torch and ice for the shaft a try today. if that fails, I'm cutting it out and ordering a new one. This project is taking much too long and I believe I have tried everything that has been suggested by many including marina mechanics. Thanks for the reply
