Who knows where to order one of those little propane tanks that come with the new Hunters? Part number 93270. I think it's a one gallon tank. Ran out of propane this weekend, no coffee! :(

Doubt you will find these tanks there.

I doubt you will find these tanks at a camping supply. I would try Hunter and see what they have to offer. There is also Sure Marine. You will probably want an Aluminum tank, but the steel ones are less expensive. That tank may be available from Seaward Marine too. They are the mfg. of the Princess stoves.

Not sure what size that part number(tank) is but if it is the 4 1/4 pound I had to get it from a propane dealer(check the yellow pages). The small tanks are very hard to find. If I remember correctly it was about $50 (included the first fill of propane.

If the tank in the same that a H36....I bought two

at Sports Chalet. And if they are the same tanks..believe me they do not make them out of aluminum (at least they didn't 3 years ago). Strange place to find these tanks..but they are a frequent camper item. Again, this is only if they are the same short fat stubby tanks found on the H36. The tank I have is a 4.25lb 1 gal size. Last time I checked with Seaward (even if their catalog says that all their tanks are aluminum) the 4.25lb was the only tank that they did not have in aluminum. I know this for a fact because it was a sore point with Hunter when I bought the boat and not even they could get aluminum. Maybe some people on this site know better....let me know if you find that size in aluminum. Good Luck, abe

Measure carefully

I bought a replacement propane tank from a company other than Hunter and it is about 1/4" too tall. Does not sound like much but it prevents the lid to the propane locker from closing properly. There is no part of the tank that can be ground down to make it fit. I finally had to order one from Hunter.

Extra Propane Tank - Try an adapter instead?

I thought about getting a second tank, but if I did, I couldn't store the small 1 lb tanks in the second space within the propane locker. So, I bought an adapter to hook up a 1 LB tank if the big one runs out of propane. I can cook for at least a week on the stove with the 1 LB tank. This gives me time to fill the big one, but still be able to store the small ones. Michael
