Propane Tank for Oday 322

Can any 322 owners tell me what size / dimensions of propane tank fits in the propane locker? I am looking at a boat 322, but the PO does not have a propane tank and I will need to purchase one.

I have two 13 pound tanks on my boat. One feeds the gally and the other is for my BBQ. Both fit nicely in thsoe aft compartments.

Not sure why you responded since you don't own a 322, but since you asked...

The boat is in Michigan. I am in Indiana. I have inspected the boat (twice now in 4 years...long story). Won't see it again until I take delivery. Did not realize there were so many sizes/shapes of propane tanks ( I am just thinking 20# BBQ grill tank, but pretty sure that won't fit.)

I thought maybe a helpful owner of a 322 would be able to give me the size so I can have a tank ready to take when I deliver the boat from Michigan.

I believe the 322 and 302 have the same propane lockers. If so, its just a little 5 lb jobber.

I believe mine is a 13 LB. BUT bought a spare at Hamilton Marine that was only 5LB cuz it was small AND it turned out to be too tall for the port locker. It does fit in sideways though so for a spare that's OK.

If I remember next time down to the boat I'll send you the make and model..

Update
The bottle on my 322 is made by AirGas www.airgas.com seems to be model UN1978. Among it's unusual features it has a concave bottom which fits nicely with propane locker floor. Which was why the smaller 5lb from Hamilton Marine doesn't fit right.
