Sailboat is 2000 Beneteau Oceanis 36 CC.

Solenoid cuts gas off after few minutes, barely enough time to boil kettle of water. Consensus is that solenoid needs replacing. Manufacturer of solenoid suggests replacement with more robust solenoid valve & coil. Availability of replacement is an issue. May have to locate item from other supplier/manufacturer.

Need to know orifice size on the valve and pressure at the inlet port. This information not forthcoming from Beneteau as it refers owners to its dealers for such technical information/assistance.

Any directives, instructions, details, specifications, part numbers, part sources that will assist this resolution much appreciated.

The propane solenoid valve is a fairly common part. Try an RV supply store.
The threads on either side of the valve appear to be common pipe thread.
Also check the electrical, connections to the solenoid, (could be loose).

If your stove is like my Force 10 stove, there is a thermocouple element in or next to the burner's flame. It creats electricity, and that operates a very small solenoid in the turn-knob controls on the front of the stove. That solenoid, I had to replace. Your trouble could be either of those two. BUT, can your tank's solenoid be wedged to stay open, and see if the stove still goes out?

Had the same issue two seasons ago (Beneteau 381, 1999). Called Beneteau tech support and was advised to order a new solenoid. Price was about the same as other sources. Had to pull the propane locker insert out to access the two mounting screws. Two seasons, no issues with the stove.
