Several years ago I purchased 1988 Hunter 35 with a Seaward LPG Locker installed in the lazarette. Recently I tried replacing the tank with the new OPD tank but the new tanks are 3/4 inch taller than the old one. In looking at the West Marine catalog this same locker states "Designed for installation above the deck only." Does any one know the original location of the propane tank on my boat? Should the LPG locker be removed from the lazarette? Where do I find a tank to fit my locker? The old tanks are Worthington and the new tank is Worthington. They are the very small 4 lb which are only 10 7/8 inches tall and 9 inches in diameter. Any luck with exterior mounting propane tank/locker? Thanks
