Propane line to hanging locker

My 1978 C&C 34 has a factory propane line running to the hanging locker. The end by the propane locker has been disconnected. I see no evidence of any heater mounting bolts. There is an exhaust stack exiting the hanging locker straight up to the deck and a functional propane switch on the bulkhead.

What type of propane unit would C&C have installed there. Again I see no mounting holes in the salon for a stove/heater and the line is definitely factory installed.

Yeah. Nothing. There is also a thermostat on that wall on the salon side. FYI, I am an maybe tech. Trained in diesel and propane heater installes. Done a lot of them. What has me stumped is the flu exit in the hanging locker. No way you could mount a Dickenson propane heater on the other side of the bulkhead in the salon. Get the flu pipe to bend around into the locker. There is no hole for the flu pipe to go into the locker and then make the bend up. The salon wall is clean.

Does anyone have an older 34 with a flu pipe exiting to the deck from the hanging locker? It all looks factory installed. I'll get pictures next time I'm on board.
