the strut that supports the prop shaft, has become ever so slightly loose from the hull. I'd like to tighten it. Can anyone give me advice on how to go about this project? Thanks in advance. please E-mail at mike1819@aol.com
The strut is glassed into the hull and there is no adjustment. Talk to a pro about what would need to be done. If you have never done this type of repair you might want to consider a yard. If you get it tilted when you fix it then you add new problems with shaft alignment!
