Does anyone know if a 15 in Martec folding prop will fit on a Catalina 270. Current factory prop is a 3 blade fixed 13 x 10. Martec recomends a 14 x 12 2 blade. Thoughts?

The prop has to clear the hull enough to prevent issues..
P.S. I owned a Martec and would not own one again. If I were going folding I'd much prefer a geared prop like a Flex-o-Fold..
It's best to call Martec and have them properly size one for your boat. If they recommend a max diameter of 14" then that is most likely what is best.
