Hunter has dealt with a few strut suppliers.. I called them and found that for my boat, Southeastern Foundaries Corp was the supplier. Try hunter first and get a part number (they were very helpful and quick), or ya may have luck calling Southeastern (336 299 7211) and they may be able to cross reference. They were very nice folks and got it to me very quickly..
Identify the maker of the strut
The strut is made of bronze. If you look carefuly you can see the maker and model number stamped on the side of the strut. You may have to rub some of the bottom paint off to see it. I had to replace the strut on my 27 and and although I can't remember who the maker was they were still in business and still had the stut in stock.
