Prop shaft strut Replace now?

Hello all! New to me 1990 Hunter 335. Here's the prop shaft strut while pulled out of the water. Replace now? I only motor no more than 2hrs at time.

I should add this was sanded down with 60 grit sand paper... There appears to be a little galvanic corrosion on the back side, but only a few mm....

if the bronze metal it is made out of still look bronze in color and not pink copper color ther is no need to change it but you could change your cutlass bearing that is in side the strut while you have it out ... the prop looks more pink than the strut to me but its hard to tell from a photo on the internet ...tap it with a steel hamer and see if it sounds like a bell if so it should be ok...if it goes thud when you hit it get a mechanic to take a look .....

Drill a hole through the middle of the strut. Inspect the shavings and the bore of the hole. If pink to any great depth you should replace it. If shiny bronze color, now install a pancake zinc to help protect it for the future.
