Prop shaft installation.

Well my shaft arrived from Catalina direct last week while I was away in Florida visiting my dad and fishing on his Triton 26 center console. (brought up a beautiful sail fish!)

The shaft appears to be exactly the same length as the old one. I will be taking it down to the boat Monday to install it and hopefully get the boat back where she belongs. In the water.

I assume it goes in the same way it came out, but wanted to ask if anyone else has done this and might have some tips and pitfalls to watch for.

Prop shaft installation is completed as follows.

1. Find hole.

2. Insert shaft.

3. Push.

4. Repeat step 3 as needed.

Got the shaft in, need to align the engine now and we are SET!
