We have a 1980 37-cutter (Cherubini) and in need of a new prop. We had a 2 blade 15 X 16 as listed on the homeowners site but have been thinking about a 3 blade prop. We need to know the reduction rating, rpm rating, and rotation direction. Can anyone help us on this? Also, what do you think about putting on a 3 blade prop? Thanks, Janet

I've a prop for you

I had some insurance work done and the yard put on a 3 bladed prop that was too big for my 33' cherubini. Worked fine with a 2qm20 and a 2.14 reduction but there just wasn't enough hull room so it wouldn't back down, just cavitated. Make me an offer, its brand new, in the water less than 4 months 15rh12 for a 1 inch shaft. Take a look at some photos at http://members.aol.com/ballardsailor Ben bnbraden@aol.com

Prop wanted

I installed a Campbell Saiolr on my 37C and am very happy with it. It is a 15 by 11.5

Folding?

I guess it depends. I hate to motor so the prop I chose had to be better than original but best for sailing. The Flex-O-Fold fit the bill. Backs down much better, forward is very good, but best of all it folds out of the way. Mine is a 2-blade but they make a 3-blade. See link. Your H37C still for sale? Why new prop?
