I just had the boat out for a bottom painting. Happy to announce there were no blisters and very very few barnacles. The only ones were around the rudder and a few on the top of the wing and these were small ones I could not see underwater.Around the prop and shaft they were starting up after only a few weeks after scraping.
I cleaned off the prop and shaft and opened the prop glop. It is in a dispenser like speed stick deodorant. It came out like the name. Glop. I just rubbed it on with the dispenser and then took a gloved hand and smoothed it out over the entire area. (naturally I managed to reach through and get a dab on my forearm.) It is very caustic and burned like crazy but washed off.
Anyhow, I will check every month or so and report back to see if it really helps or not. The summer season is upon us here in SW Florida and the gulf is exceptionally clean and clear. Baitfish are starting to bunch up along the coast and look like small clouds on the water. Fishing will just get better and better and mostly the weather will be nice. Afternoon thunderstorms still need watching and we keep an eye out of the formation of hurricanes but overall this is a calm peaceful time on the gulf and in the islands. I am planning a lot of time on the water.

I talk to rep at moby-cool product, he said prop glop will work if you only take boat out once or twice a week,( but will not work if boat is use every day) and doing that it will last up to three months. I am willing to spend the 30.00 bucks just to see outcome of results. If product fail or if result is 95% good it will be worth the money. I think this product only work good if a person conscientiously uses applied progam of underwater maintaince, just like cleaning bottom of boat.
I looking for your reply on your result of your shaft and prop over what period of time you inspected the bottom again.

Keep us inform, thanks
