Just got the boat in Oct. last year and it's way underprop'b. It's been repowered with a 30HP Yanmar diesel and has a 15"x10" 2 blade prop. The prop is a very thin fixed 'sailboat' blade. I am in Florida at present and the boat is in NJ. Last year reading the O"Day and Yanmar documents they seemed to recommend an 18"x 12" ( Yanmar) or 18"x 10" (original equipment from O'Day), I think ? I lost the paper I wrote it all down on .... Can anyone confirm my memory ? It has a 1 1/4" shaft and a 2/1 Hurth trans. I will be heading for NJ in late June and would likr to have a new (recon'd) prop with me. I want a 3 blade 18"x 10" I think ?

Prop

I recently joined the forum and saw your post on the prop for a 37CC. My Universal Atomic 32 gave out a few years ago so I replaced it with the Universal M40BC (37.5 hp). My stock 2 bladed prop gave me an easy 7+k ll with the new engine. However I still went with a Kiwi 3 bladed feathering prop (16.5") diameter which also gives me 7+k, better reverse control, and a little less drag.

I still have the original westerbeke 32 diesel with a 16x11 prop on our 79 37CC. She runs about 6+k.
