I was looking for a method of cleaning my prop when the boat is hauled. My search didn't get me to the thread that I believe I read some time ago. I was thinking a brass brush and some black, red, or green scrubbies pads. Is there any polish or cleaner out there that could make the job easy? I saw the prop before the boat was launched and it was very bright and shiney.

Bronze should be nearly brown when it has aged a little. There is no point in making it shiney just clean and free of hard growth.

My Catalina has a prop from Indigo and it didn't have any growth after three seasons. I saw several boats hauled last week that were loaded with barnacles and other growth. Just wanted to be prepared for whatever the Max-Prop looks like.
