Anyone here have any experience with Profurl's new spinnaker furling systems?

Fascinating. The magazine article I read left me confused. The video shows a simple system that looks like it could be pretty reliable. Now to actually see one full-size .

So why wouldn't any other furler do the same thing if the head of the spinaker was attached likewise? Then it could be left rigged out on the sprit, or has this already been done. I don't get out much.

There are several manufacturers of spinnaker furlers. I've been looking to replace the sock.

The CDI unit is the cheapest .

The Profurl has just been released so there isn't much in the way of reviews.

The Rollgen has been around but it is also expensive.
