I have a 1988 profurl P40 on my 34 Catalina. ON the drum part there are 4 guides that stick up and retain the line around the drum and they used to have little rollers on them. These look like long skinny thimbles (like thread comes on) and slide over the guides that are 5/16 in diameter. Now my question is where can I get replacement rollers? I emailed Profurl twice and got no answer. I emailed Maui sailing gear who handles profurl and was directed to contact profurl direct. So ?? anyone know?

Profurl P40 and 52 DOA

A trip to West M. and a call to Wichart ended the search. Profurl stopped making the P40 and P52 in 1990 and stopped supplying parts in 2000. No advice from Wichart. tough luck..Terry

right? Stopped supplying parts???!! What's with that? Profurl claims to be the best out there. Sounds like it's time for them to step up to the plate. Oh wait, the French bought them. So sad.
