Does anyone that has a Profurl C320 know the line diameter they used for the furling line? The instructions say 6 - 8 mm (15/64" - 5/16") which seems a bit small. I would prefer something in the 7/16" range, do I have to strip the core from the section that wraps around the drum to get something this big?

I use 3/8" on my ProFurl LCI32 system. Works just fine, reasonable "hand," no coring required. Just don't put too many wraps on the drum. When furled, I only have 1 1/2 turns of line on the drum.

I used 5/16". Works fine and doesnt overfill the drum when unfurled. Sufficient "hand" when furling / unfurling. I have a 140 genoa and I believe that 7/16" w/o removing core would be too much on the drum, causing it to jam.

I use 5/16”. There is certainly not a lot of load on the furling line. In my case, I can furl the jib without using a winch because its only a 105. I changed from the original Profurl to a Harken and used the same furling line. (The furler had to be changed due to damage caused in storage).
