Profurl C260 furler halyard slipping

The Profurl C260 furler has a single line that acts as both the haylard and the furler.
The design is that you raise the sail on the furler track and then engage a "stopper" lever, basically a cam cleat.
Then you put the wraps on.
that cam cleat does not hold up the sail.
has anyone else run into this? If so, what is your fix.

Do you have a picture of the stopper? Maybe there is a damaged or missing part on it? Maybe tie a knot after the stopper to prevent it from slipping?
without pictures, having no knowledge of this type of furler it is hard to figure it out perfectly

Fred's right. I was barely able to read the manual you posted and had trouble understanding your description of how it all works. Most furlers are different than what you describe. Photos would really help us help you.
