Just replaced the bow ring. Just repainted the grip deck.
1. Where should I store the hatch when sailing?
2. Where should I store the binoculars? They are always out of reach when needed.
3. Where should I store the elastic ties? I always have to look for them when trailering.
4. Where should I put the output from the bilge pump?
5. Is there a good way to move the rudder from the cabin to the stern for installation?

The simple response is "however/wherever works best for you".

1. Where should I store the hatch when sailing? I throw mine in the cabin. If you are a daysailer, leave it in the tow vehicle.
2. Where should I store the binoculars? They are always out of reach when needed. 10 in. x 12 in. • Get Wet Organizer • Mold & Mildew Resistant
3. Where should I store the elastic ties? I always have to look for them when trailering. See question 1. 10 in. x 12 in. • Get Wet Organizer • Mold & Mildew Resistant
4. Where should I put the output from the bilge pump? At the transom if possible (it will stain). Well above the waterline in any event.
5. Is there a good way to move the rudder from the cabin to the stern for installation? Get someone else to do it. Otherwise store it in your tow vehicle.

Get Wet Organizer is a great idea. I will get a couple this week.
Hatch is full size and I need it onboard.
Bilge pump is next to the keel. Still thinking.
Biggest problem is the rudder. It is large and heavy. It is hard to get over the stern and installed without tagging the boat with a nick.
Thanks for the great idea.

Our hatch fits into the back port corner. Our rudder has never been lifted into the vessel. We always just lift it into or out of the tow vehicle. If we’re on the water, the rudder is on. No bilge pump required, good question.

To protect the hull from the rudder, I'd use a rubber rub/mat with a slit in the middle for the rudder and possibly a couple more for the vertical stern rail supports
