Has anyone had a problem with the heat cycle on a 16,000 BTU Cruisair self contained unit? The the temperature never reaches the thermostat temp but the compressor runs for a while then shuts down while the fan still runs and 2 minutes later turns on again. It continues to recycle. I connected gauges while the unit was running and found that the high pressure reading went from 150 PSI to 410 PSI where the high pressure cutoff was engaged. It took about 2 minutes to cool down and the pressure reading went down to 150 PSI. I checked for blockage of air in both the input and output, dirty filters, etc. Everything was fine. BTW, the cool cycle works fine and doesn't shut off until the desired temp is reached. Does anyone have any ideas what's causing this? Thanks. Ken Catalina 42 MK I 2 Stateroom

Water Flow

Are you getting proper water flow? I believe that would be about 4 GPM. A couple other things to check are the thermistat positioning (should be right behind the return air duct), and the low speed fan speed setting (default is 32). The AC may seem to be working because the water temp is so low right now, making the unit work less hard to get the temperature down.
