primer coat

Just finished rolling out a primer coat this morning. Although I have uniform coverage I can still see areas that we faired/filled thru the primer coat

Do I need to topcoat this so all faired/filled areas do not show thru the primer or can I go straight to the first finish coat?

We applied 2 primmer coats and sanded as needed, then applied last coat of 50% primmer and 50% top coat color. Just wanted a good job.

Thanks Ray. After a good nights sleep I decided 2 coats of primer are in order. I've put too much work into this project to take a "shortcut" at this stage in the game...
