Does anyine know if the factory primed the rudder on the early 2011 e33/new 33's?

In answer to your question, I don't know for sure. But I do know that the hull is constructed with a blister-resistant ISO NPG gelcoat. This is done, of course, at the factory. A dealer option for that boat was (is??) 5 coats of epoxy barrier paint & 2 coats of bottom paint. I assume that the rudder received the same treatment; but, a quick email to Hunter would resolve your question.

Primer
When my new 2007 H-36 was delivered to the dealer ship it was
bare gel coat and the dealer added the bottom paint but not sure
what if any primer or just sanding before bottom paint.
Barrier coat was a extra option up to the buyer.
