I am told that the iPhone app will be in the App Store on Friday, August 16.
The new app is clean and simple. In fact, it is really simple; not a bad thing for an app. It will be easy to learn. The controls are in different places than the website, but there are minimal controls to find.
It has the basic functions of the website: post new threads, replies, check new posts, upload images, submit reports to the mods, send and receive PM's, block users... but not too much else.
Things that I noticed missing are emojis (keyboard shortcuts will work), post toolbar, preview, notification options, and full user profiles. However, I think it will work really well for all but power users.
For me, I would use this on a phone but continue to use the website on a tablet.
