H260 pre-launch

Here are the things I check after the mast is up.

  1. Snug the swing keel line (I release it when trailering, so the keel rests on the trailer board)
  2. Unpin the rudder (There is a rudder up pin hole for trailering)
  3. Tilt the outboard up
  4. Ensure the water ballast port is secure. I control when the tank fills, after the boat has floated free of the trailer.
  5. Rig lines and fenders on the side of the launch ramp dock
  6. Disconnect trailer lights
Now I'm ready for launch

The best advice, practice and practice at home raising and lowering the mast. Once you have that under your belt, then go sailing. If you have any questions, send me an email with your phone number and location and I will call you. I know this in my sleep plus I developed a system for my customers. \\\ Crazy Dave Condon
