I'm looking for someone who would be intersted in doing a pre-inspection on a couple of hunter 31's. They are both at Racine Riverside Marine, Inc.950 Erie StreetRacine, WI 53402, USATel 262 636 8020 If anyone lives in the area and could have a look at or know these boats that would be great. I live in Saskatoon Sk. Canada and it's a long way to go to check out these boats.Thanks Don

A thought

I spent many years storing at Riverside and bought 2 boats from them. I can attest to the honesty of the company and would trust them to be up front if you contacted them and told them you needed a blunt assessment because of your situation. If you know the names of these boats, I might possibly be familiar with them as I was quite involved with the Racine boating community for many years

pre-inspection H31_83-87

Before I purchase my H31 1987, in 2000, I printed out and read all of the owner's comments from this website (see "Boat Information".."Model Info").I learned a lot about the boat model, good and bad.Research the "archives", you will be able to identify problems owner's have had and look for those items when you inspect the boats.Love my H31!Since 2000 have added, Refrig, Radar, New depth/speed/wind, Rear Arch, Cockpit cushions, New head, and Air Conditioner/Heater.Have made two Gulf of Mexico crossings (225 NM each way) in the last two years.This year had 6-8Ft seas with 18-28Kt Winds, boat handled it great, crew was very tired.Good Luck.bill
