Powered winch for H410

Do any readers have a factory installed powered winch on a Hunter 410?

I want to do an upgrade using Lewmar's conversion kit and would like to know where Hunter installed the motor. Does it extend below the headliner or did Hunter build in a cavity that can hold it?

Also where did Hunter run the cables from the helm seat area (where the battery switches are) to the powered winch?

Thanks much.

If it parallels the 40.5, the motor extends under the headliner and there is a molded piece which hides it. I have seen add-on installations where a teak-faced plywood box was built to house the motor. The switch is just below the winch and the relay box is mounted inside the forward cockpit locker on the 40.5. Good luck! It's $$$ but you'll think it's worth it.

I assume you are talking about powering a winch on the cabin top? There is a molded cover in the aft stateroom. I don't know what you mean about switches at the helm seat. Do you mean nav station? That is where the breaker is. I think the power cables run behind the electrical panel overhead under the liner to the power winch.
