Hello,a 91 H30 I'm in the process of buying won't do more than 2300 rpm without the fresh water cooling circuit overheating. The surveyor measured 106 deg as exhaust outlet, 175 at injectors 189 at thermostat at 2300 rpm rising to 200 deg at 2500 rpm. Transmission was 136 deg. The seller has agreed to get a Yanmar agent to fix it and write his satisfaction up (so I can insure it!) so...Qu1 - The boat is in the water at a dock - what's a fair test of full-power with no overheating? Can we simply run it at "x" rpm whilst tethered to the dock pilings or is that not a very good test? (I'm imagining that the prop would "unload" at hull speed).Qu2 - what do other 88-94 H30 owners get as max speed under power (freshly painted bottom). Thanks in advance (this is a VERY useful forum btw)Patrick in Port Charlotte
