Hi there, I have a hunter 326 2002, can anyone help? Ignition is in and off with power.
When its off I do a bypass direct from the battery and it starts.
Then I disconnect the bypass, use the boat, turn it off, and when I tried the ignition again it works. Any suggestions??
Thank you

A know issue with Yanmar wiring harnesses is an intermittent failure in the wire powering the solenoid. The wire is a bit undersized and coupled with age and subsequent corrosion the wire no longer delivers enough current to power the solenoid, so the starter won't engage. It can be intermittent which is especially frustrating. There are several fixes well documented on SBO and on other forums.

Thank you, for the info.

Do you happen to know where is the solenoid? Or do you have the electric diagram of the ignition board?
Thanks.

The solenoid is attached to the starter motor. No, I don't have a schematic of your engine.
