Potential deal on nice yacht

It did not say how long a boat in the story but it looks rather small for 4 million dollars. Building it outside in the rain and elements? I guess they could have moved it outside for the sale, but that is odd as a potential buyer would want to see the boat as it is being built, not displayed like an unwanted item at a yard sale. Looks to me the 50,000 bid was about 48,000 too high.

Tempting but I'll keep mine. Lol

Article said it is a Deerfoot 70.. I have been on the smaller Deerfoot(s?) deerfeet? and found them to be outstanding boats .. Lyman Morse (noted to be one of the best in the world) is building this one and apparently will finish it.. so it will be a real world class live-aboard cruiser.. when they add the rest of it. That boat's specialty will be fast long distance passagemaking..

70ft. That price is not outrageous for a one-off custom build like this. The fact that LM bought it back says a lot about it's current condition. They do not produce anything but the best.
