Possible exhaust leak any thoughts, advice?

Each year before sailing season begins I give a thorough visual inspection of engine and systems in my boat and this year discovered the paint missing from this area shown in the attached photo. Paint is bubbled or burned off.
There is what appears to be an exhaust manifold leak from the cover plate on the bottom of the exhaust manifold, This plate also supports the bracket for the secondary fuel filter. If anyone has any experience with this I would appreciate hearing their comments. Is there a gasket here? 10 mm bolts.:doh:
This is a 3GM30.

Wayne, that plate seals the bottom of the "fresh water reservoir", as Yanmar calls it . There is coolant on the other side. Next time you change the coolant, you could change the gasket .. doesn't look like it is leaking bad enough to really worry about. You could carefully try tightening each of the bolts. Probably don't want to go more than 10-12 foot pounds or you'll be flirting with stripping them.

Wayne, ditto what Claude said. Besides, looking at the picture we cannot detect any signs of leaks on the engine or on top of the filter (dirt, rust, oily film, etc). If you want to check for the possible leak, make a pad out of 2 or 3 paper towels, start the engine, and while it is warming up hold the pad for a few seconds against the rusted area on the plate. If anything is leaking to any degree you should see it on the pad.

Anybody know the part number for the fuel supply line with the banjo fittings between the fuel pump and filter. It is the wire mesh covered supply line. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Claude & Claude;
Claude, I wasn't sure what was behind that plate, hot exhaust or coolant or seawater but no evidence of any leak. Thanks for the info.
I ran the engine for about an hour under load and no leaks there of any kind so will just keep an eye on this. I guess the paint is just peeling off.
