I am doing some reburbishing work on my Hunter 22. As you can tell from the picture, the hole in the keel where the pivot pin goes has seen a great deal of wear. I was wondering if someone could tell me the correct position of the pin.
Sence you have your centerboard out can you photo the full lenth and get the weight of your board. I have not had mine out yet and could use this information. I do not know the correct position for the pivit hole.
the direct center of the hole should be 12 inches from the top and 12 inches from the rounded side(front)-so I'd say your "A" mark is closest; the full length is 5 feet and it weighs about 70 lbs;
My problem is a little diferent, have lost my board entirely, but am thinking that a plan view and/or spec. sheet might solve both. Am thinking about building a replacement but haven't a clue as to dimensions and such. Thanks to all.
