Great Trip
That was a great story, Jim. Really enjoyed it. What a shame, we were planning to go to annapolis for a few days and maybe would have met you and brian and steph and some of the others that make this forum so interesting. But instead we spent that weekend getting our 290 cleaned out and ready for a trip to mystic and trade her in for a new 36.We will retire july 2007 and spending the rest of 2007 here in NY sailing our new 36 and than trying to decide how to get her to port charlotte fl. Maybe if we sail her down we can visit everybody from this forum along the way, that would really be great. So much to do next year--retirement party, sell the house, go sailing on the new boat as much as I want when ever I want, not just waiting for the weekend. Life just keeps getting better every day.My wife and I are both retiring next year so when we went to the newport boat show looking to buy a new 33, she looked at the 36 and said we need to get the 36. We did look at alot of other nice boats but we both wanted the 36.So listening to all the people with all their advice and upgrades and projects on this forum really helped to add all the options from the factory. Thanks everyone for your help with our new boat.
