Are replacements available? Mine are pretty much cooked. They leak and plastic is brittle. Main cabin ones are most needed. Forwards I think I can make do. Thanks

If they are available, I would think that a call to Rudy at D&R Marine is your best bet. He may or may not have a source for them, but will do his best to help. (508) 644-3001
The other possiblity is to look for a brand label on the ports, they may have come from MARK PLASTICs (I think that is the company name) they made ports for a lot of different boatbuilders in the days that our boats were built. (wish I could give you contact info for Mark Plastics, but I don't have it written down.... have heard their name from many owners of "plastic classics".)

windows replacement

Bowman marine will make them. You can google them. Out of Canada. Send the template and they will make them. I replaced a 27' Watkins window for $300. Also, NEWPORT style windows by Bomar makes an opening port that will fit w/minor modifications. $550 a pair, I believe.

Re: windows replacement

Okay. I screwed that up. It's BOMON and BECKSON. The top of the post is wrong. The links are correct. Sorry.

Ok Stusail here's the straight scoop on Oday cabin windows. I decided to go ahead and replace all the windows on my 27. The forward opening ports are Grey ports and readily available except for the rain shade. The main cabin windows are no longer available except through D&R Marine where Rudy is getting them custom made. These are direct replacement so any chopping of the openings is not required. They are pricey $365/pair for forward or aft or $730/fore and aft plus $129 each or $258 for 2 on the opening ports. I just ordered them today and it's a 10 day to shipping lead time. The 23 lists for $460/pair. Don't know if this includes all 4 required for the 23 but is for years 77 thru 85 and are available in clear or tinted. It is also interesting to note that there was no core in the cabin sides to hold a fixed distance so that the windows maintained a tight seal. I have posted my solution on "And so it begins" thread under bigger boats as port leaks are a common malady. Good wishes on the success of your project.
