Hi I'am looking to replace just the inside glassware (plastic) of the smaller PORTLIGHTS located in the head (port side) and above the locker on the starboard side. They are the smaller size opening ports that dog down from inside. They have screens. My boat is a Newport 30 MK3 built in 1983. Any info on the original brand will be helpful. Thanks much.

Had a conversation with Mark of Mark Plastics a couple of years ago about the fixed portlights, not the opening portlights. The original Capital deadlights were made by Elixir Windows in Gardena CA, no longer in business. Anyone who cuts acrylic should be able to cut a matching piece for you. If you're replacing due to leaks I'd consider replacing the entire frame. If due to crazing I'm not sure how easily the pane comes out.

I soaked mine in a water, baking soda and hydrogen peroxide solution for a couple days. It cleaned them a little. They are not clear but they are a little better than they were. I read on the internet that this was suppose to clean clear plastic.
