I have replaced all the large portlights on my H37C and now want to replace the small ones. Up until last month Sailnet carried the Bomar/Gray port we need, but evidently Sailnet has dropped the line. I know I can buy them directly from Pompanette, but it galls me to pay the prices they ask. Have any of you found another source at lower prices than Pompanette?

Too much?

Are those the ones for $90. from Pompanette? Look what BLA gets for them! See Related Link. I agree with Steve, call WM with the part numbers.

Depending on the size, try the New Found

Metals TRI-MATRIX ports. Their about $20-$30 more expensive than the Bowmar ones they replace but worth much more than that small price difference. The only downside is that as of today, NFM only makes 2 rectangular TRI-MATRIX ports, a 7x15 and a 5x12. If what you're replacing is one of those sizes then that's the direction to take. I'm just finishing up replacing all my old Bowmar ports - 6/ea 7x15s and 4/ea 5x12s. Installation is easy. Go to the Photo Forum to see someone's (Michael Nikisher) installation on an '81 or '82 h33. Great photo layout and you'll see how easy it is and how superior the NFM TRI-MATRIX parts are.

From the Source!

We ordered 9 new portlights for our 1979 30' Hunter and they sent ones identical to our original Grays. http://www.pompanette.com/pompweb.nsf/731d6514ff5a8481852567be000745b2/0b6a37db4eafbf05852567c400837f28?OpenDocument They're still made up in the Tampa area here in Florida. You can order online, but we called and talked to them to make sure they were right. Cheers! Aaron Norlund
