My fixed (non opening) main cabin windows are leaking on my 1986 H34. They are dark Lexan, attached form the outside using screws. There is no outside frame around the windows (as used on earlier H34s). Any advise on removing these, recaulking and reinstalling them?

Fixed ports

Had the same problem on our 86 H31. We purchased new tinted plexiglas ports from a local plastic fabrication company for $27 for the pair. Drilled holes to match the existing ones, re-bed with black Life Caulk and installed the new ports.

did it too

I just did it by ripping out the old ones and cleaning (thoroughly), then installing locally-cut plastic w/lifeseal black. Not a hard just, just many steps. Check the archives b/c there's much discussion, or email me if you want to talk more. matthew.reed@usdoj.gov
