I've been trying to get some of the Gray marine (Bomar) plastic ports to replace those in a 1980 H33 - ordered some from Sailnet since they are about $89.00 vs $119 for same item at Defender - Thrifty Mariner has none and don't know when they will get any - point of post - Sailnet sends me a message saying they are out of stock, won't have any until middle of November, even though they were shown as in stock when I purchased. Anyone know of another online site to purchase for around the $90 price? thanks

Go to source?

You could write or call the source, Pompanette(related link). Maybe they would supply you with dealers names. West Marine does not stock them but can usually get anything you want, not sure about price. Also check "Sailor's Sourcebook"(http://old.sailingworld.com/ssbk/). Or do something really dumb like I did and replace with all bronze(http://www.newfoundmetals.com/index.htm). Good luck.

Try Boat/US Special Orders Desk

They sell a variety. Have your port model number ready (if you know it) and dimensions and give them a call.

Sailnet

Sailnet, per another board, is in the process of moving. May have it in stock but not available. Have only ordered from them once, item was listed as in stock. Received a reply it was out of stock but received the part within 10 days. Have had the same thing happen with West Marine. Perhaps the web sites are not as accurate concerning inventory. How long did they say it would take to get the ports?
