I need to replace a few or all of my ports on my '83 irwin 41 ketch,
. I have talked to New Found Metals about their ports and have looked at the Bomar replacements for the existing Gray models. Does anyone know if the Bomars are an exact fit for the existing? The New Found Metals ones look great but require recutting the openings.

yes, they are the same. I've replaced two with the bomar gray portlights and even found a beckson at a resale shop and it fit with minor revisions. you can buy them (bomar) from pompanette. however, they truly are cheaper through the sbo store. My boat is the Irwin 34 and replaced the 414 and 715 portlights.
