Poppits for a Cat 30

Can the same poppits be used on a Catalina 30 as were used on a Catalina 25 for dry storage? Our 30 has the standard fin keel draft.

Poppits sure sound cuter than "jack stands"!!!Now that I know...If they're pretty good sized, why wouldn't they work? They just have to be placed in the right spot & chained together. The boat yard I use has the same jack stands...oops! I mean poppits...for all the boats they haul. The bigger the boat, the more they use is the only difference.LaDonna

All boat stands are not equal

It is true that the bigger the boat the more Poppits, Jack stands, Boat stands or whatever you want to call them are needed. But they also come in different heights. Make sure that they are high enough to give the proper support. BTW, when blocking the boat make sure that the weight of the boat is on the keel, NOT the boat stands.MPJ
