Poor man's autohelm

Is there a poor man's autohelm for a wheel?
I only need it for one long trip, not permanent.
Is there a way to rig up the tiller autohelm?

What type tiller .do.you have? I had a Tillermaster and still have the wheel adaptor for it.

Problem is that once ya use it on a long motor or sail, you'll be hooked and for teh next year or so ya gonna be thinking.. MAN I wish I'd have just bit the bullet and put a wheelpilot on..

Hey, Frank, do you have a picture of that? I've been thinking about having a tillerpilot as a backup, tied to the bottom spoke of the wheel so it works just like a tiller.
