Hello all...I recently had a freeze up of my freezer holding plate and after defrosting the freezer and the compressor unit I now have a pool of water under my engine. I thought that there must be a drain hole down there somewhere that is clogged? I felt around as far as I could reach and could not find one? Does anyone know if there is a drain hole somewhere under the engine that would allow the water to flow into the bilge? If there is not one why? I was hoping not to have to get out the shop vac..

I'm pretty certain that the area under the engine is made to hold liquids and not flow them to the bilge to avoid oil being inadvertently discharged overboard. You will need to pump out the water into containers to avoid polluting the water around your boat and disposing of it. If there is no oil in it, I would add a little detergent and then pump out making the water safer to discharge into the environment.
