POLYURETHANE (MINWAX) Floor Routene Maintenance

Looking to see what other owners are using for routine cleaning and maintenance of the floors on the newer Hunters (2007 Hunter 33).
Not sure what the issues are wrt this type of floor. In other boats I have owned I waterproofed the bottom of the teak floor boards to prevent water damage.
How tough are these new floors wrt moisture and water damage?

I am pretty sure that the floor boards are composite and made to look like Teak and Holly. We have not had any issues but we do not get the floors too wet either. We wash them with soap and water.

I think Hunter recommends Minwax Polyuratane
I had a problem last year when left boat 3 months when some how water got in and layed on floor and not sure how long but left a water stain like a white cloud and have not been able to remove with out damage to the fake flooring.
I think if the flooring had a better clear coating than could have been very light sanding and than new clear coating would have been better.
the flooring is like a print on the floor and if damaged is very hard to repair and is not real wood.
My floor has always been very good with out any wear and tear until this water damage,I never thought to put a clear protective coating and would be a lot of work but wish I had done it after my problem.

As I read it Polyurethane if for repair of floors not a preventative coating per say.

Cleaning is by damp cloth, like a swifter, I would not use a bucket and mop that is for sure, while it is marine grade laminated plywood, I still would not want to get it intentionally wet.

REPAIR OF POLTURETHANE (MINWAX) FLOORS
Surface Scratches: Sand floor with 220 grit sandpaper. Remove all dust with clean cotton cloth
or blow off with air. Apply one coat of minwax evenly over sanded floor. Let dry completely, at
least 24 hours
Deep Scratches: Remove all blemishes by sanding floor with 220, until all minwax is removed
and you have a raw floor. Remove all dust with clean cloth or blow off with air. Apply one coat
evenly over floor. Let dry four to six hours. Repeat steps one and four. Apply third coat of minwax
only if needed by repeating steps one and four.) After final coat, let floor dry completely at least
one day.

In other boats I have owned I waterproofed the bottom of the teak floor boards to prevent water damage.

I've had other people advise me to remove the floor / sole boards from their little trays and polyurethane or clear epoxy the bottoms to make them waterproof. Have other people done this, and is it advisable. I've never had (and hope I never have) standing water over the sole boards. If this is advisable, what material did you use for coating - PU or 2-part epoxy?

My first thought was to 2 part epoxy the bottom of the removable panels but am I creating a problem wrt the material (Not sure exactly what it is) being able to dry out when it gets wet. Not so much concerned with these as I remove them regularly to let the air through when I am not using the boat. The fixed ones concern me as not sure how much air flow there is under the floor to dry it out. I do not see a way to remove the remaining floor boards for the winter which I did with older boats (floors were screwed down).
Has any one done this for a repair or other reason with this boat?
