I was denied entry to Canada once because of a speeding ticket that wasn't settled. Use your passport, they do a driver's license check, but unless you are a convicted felon, minor offenses shouldn't show up with a passport search. And don't give them your social security number. I've been back dozens of times with no problem, except the one time a dancer at Club Erotica stole $40 from my front pocket, but I'll leave that story for a later time.

A word of advice to all: If you're in a sailing forum and using the name of a current or former president, chances are good you're posting to the wrong forum.
But, to be politically correct, what about the Canadian, Australian, and British posters (or reference to Canadian, Australian, and British politicians)? For balance sake, shouldn't "current or former Prime Minister" be included, too? :poke:

P.S. I miss the old "eeks" (or "yikes", or what ever it was called) smilie. The new "eek" one just doesn't quite have the expression of the old one.
