A few months ago this feature article was being hosted by Island Girl products. How are Island Girl products similar, dis-similar to Poli Glow. Also, is Poli Glow only for hull or would you also use it to restore areas such as the cockpit and cabin top?

From what I have read on this site there has been a lot of confusion on how to use Island Girl products. Check the archives. I have only seen positive comments about Poliglow. Again check the Archives. I have seen the video tape for Poliglow and it looks pretty easy to use and the results I have seen have been pretty good. Never seen Island Girl results.

We really do not compete per se: Poli Glow is a revolutionary process that restores gelcoat to a mirror like, wet look finish. And yes, Poli Glow is/can be used anywhere on the boat that has a gelcoat finish. An no, it does not make the deck slippery as will waxes. See the related link below for additional Q/A. DAn

Island Girl OK
Results I've seen with IG have been really good. Worked good on my 33.5 and didn't have to put any coatings over the gelcoat. I didn't find the instructions hard, but I guess someone could.
