Pole needs work

The pole used on the jib seems frozen. This might not be a major issue if it was set right but with the furler and new sail its wrong.

Suggestions on how to brek it loose enough to adjust?

I used PB Blaster and soaked it overnight. Be careful, it stains. Then, I clamped the end and turned the sleeve back and forth until it broke loose. Then I took it apart, washed it well, lubricated the tubes and reassembled. (I assume this is a telescoping pole.)

Ah this make me a Pole Volter as I drive a Chevy Volt, but kdding a side thanks sounds like a workable approach.
