On my 120 volt breaker panel is a "polarity tester". It is a spring loaded toggle switch. When I push it to the right I get the buzz and yellow light. My question is; is this normal? Does the light and buzzer come on automatically if the polarity is reversed and this switch is just to make sure it's working properly? Thanks for any responses.
