Finally, Old Crazy Dave needs help of course in the head too as I am touched. I have a customer who wants power tilt on the engine due to age. I am in the process of finding out the information but have any of you fellows ever put power tilt up and down only on a 260. Please respond asap. If you have please leave your email address. Hi Dave, I have a Yamaha F15Z power tilt on my 2000 H260. Works like a charm. I know it is a larger OB than recommended by Hunter but seems to be just fine. Of course it is hooked up to remote controls and also I have an EZ steer connect ot the rudder. If you come to the Kerr Lake rendezvous you will be able to see it.

I have checked into it and that would be fine but in strong tidal current in several areas I know, I am not sure if the 8 will be strong enough. Rheinhold has the 15 with tilt and electrical and I will seee him at the Kerr Lake meet.

The 8hp four stroke yamaha with power trim and tilt with electric start powers my 260 along without any problems. It has a high thrust prop. I have motored in very strong winds and there is not a problem with power.
