I have a 29' 1979 lancer and am replumbing the drain for the shower into a sump pump and was wondering if the sink drains can be plumbed thru the hull like my power boat or will it take on water when I am sailing because it is nearer to the water line.

There should be a through hull with a valve. Alternately you can just let it run into your bilge and let the bilge pump take care of it. It will freshen up your bilge too.
