plexiglass windows

Help! We replaced our side windows on our 1992 hunter 43 and were talked into Bronze Lexan. They are so clear that the framing and any voids in the adhesive show and now the boat looks terrible. We are trying to replace them with the correct plexiglass and shade but are not having any luck finding the material. Does anyone know where we can purchase a sheet of plexiglass that will not show the framing and window treatments when looking at the boat on the outside? Thank you

Try Select Plastics.

FYI - Quality Plexiglass/acrylic should run about $20/sq ft plus the fabrication costs.

My understanding is that you should NOT use Lexan. It scratches easier and is also less UV stable.

jerebri, you could paint a dark border around the plexiglass edge, as wide as it would cover the unsightly voids or stick a bazel/frame inplace.
Any pictures?
